Can I use the screens I already have?
In many cases, yes. The Skjámynd app runs on Google TV and Android TV, so often a small Android TV device plugged into the screen is enough. We will assess it with you.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The screen keeps playing. Content is stored on the device itself and syncs again once the connection is back.
Do I need any technical skills to change the content?
No. You sign in from your browser, drag in images or videos and press save. If you prefer, we can manage the content for you.
Do you handle the installation?
Yes. We supply the screens, mount, connect and configure them — and monitor them afterwards.
Is the system available in English?
Yes, in both Icelandic and English. The software is developed in Iceland and connects to Icelandic data sources such as the Road Administration, Isavia and Safetravel.
